    UEFA Champions League

Post by bet on 31st August 2010, 01:15

    GROUP A GROUP B GROUP C GROUP D
Tottenham Hotspur FC Hapoel Tel-Aviv FC Valencia CF FC Rubin Kazan
FC Twente Olympique Lyonnais Manchester United FC FC Barcelona
FC Internazionale Milano FC Schalke 04 Rangers FC Panathinaikos FC
SV Werder Bremen SL Benfica Bursaspor FC København

    GROUP E GROUP F GROUP G GROUP H
FC Basel 1983 Chelsea FC AJ Auxerre FK Partizan
FC Bayern München Olympique de Marseille Real Madrid CF Arsenal FC
AS Roma FC Spartak Moskva AFC Ajax SC Braga
CFR 1907 Cluj MŠK Žilina AC Milan FC Shakhtar Donetsk

Eye-catching games on Matchday 1 include a fixture between two multiple European champions, a British derby and a group-stage debutant welcoming holders FC Internazionale Milano.

A meeting of two former European champions and holders FC Internazionale Milano beginning their defence against a competition newcomer are among the stand-out fixtures on UEFA Champions League Matchday 1.

A tough looking Group G – which features three former winners of the competition – starts with Real Madrid CF hosting AFC Ajax while in Group A, Inter travel to group-stage debutants FC Twente. A British derby between Manchester United FC and Rangers FC catches the eye in Group C, as does AS Roma's Group E trip to last season's runners-up, FC Bayern München.

Why do you think that team you have chosen will win the UEFA Champion League??

My prediction of a few games played today.

Imo it's going to be a very difficult game for Manchester United. Red Devils are out of form and recently they had problems with winning. It's going to be probably a game without a lot of goals. I think that draw in the first half is highly possible, both teams won't play open football from the very beginning. Odds for homw win for me are to low to risk.

    My bet: draw first half.

Twente played a piece of good football against Inter and they presented very well. The game against Tottenham was completle different and silmpy it was a disater fot the Dutch team. I hope today they'll play similar as they were against the previous Cl winner. Bremmen doesn't look good in Germany and in the Europe. They have problems with winning and now in the league table they're at 11th position. If Twente thinks about promotion to the next stage they have to win games at home field.

    My bet Twente dnb

Inter and Tottenham are favourits for the promotion to the next round and it's going to be probably a taugh game. Benites knows how to play against english teams and for sure he doesn't underestimate the rival. I remember the clash between Inter and ManU in Italy and I think that this game is going to similar. In my opinion under 2,5 and draw for the first half is highly possible.

    My bet: draw first half

    Tottenham - Internazionale

I don't know but odd on Inter is like a gift from bookies ... what do you think ? Isn't 2.60 to big odd on Inter against Tottenham ? 1st class clubs like Inter will not lose so easy in this match. Tottenham haven't showed us something special in first matches.

I'll try to bet this double chance on Inter or DNB 2 with big stake...

What do you think about FC København draw no bet? In my opinion odds on hosts are to hight and it's worth trying for low stake. They appear to be a good and fully mobilized team. Hosts has showed that they can gain a positive score for them.
Manchester UTD sent a strong team to Turkey and Sir Alex Ferguson said that it's very important game for them because if they won they could be almost sure to gain promotion to the next round. I think that 1,75 is worth trying and I'm going to bet a medium stake for away win.
Werder and Valencia are totally no bets for me. There any score is possible. But Arsenal and Lyon look nice.

Yes , I'll skip to Werder and Valencia. Arsenal and Lyon are in some crisis , so I'll not bet on them too. I'll try to catch odd dnb or double chance on Inter.

DNB on FC København , I don't think so Very Happy I'll bet before asian handicap Very Happy

And FC København managed to stop the mighty Barcelona. Many people underestimate that club. I haven't seen the game so I can't say how they did play but score is score. Manchester as I predict, great game and I'm really glad that Bebe scored a goal, he has a potential to become a great player such as Nani etc.
Which game did you watch? What are your feelings about the other games. I watched Bursaspor -Manchester Utd mainly because I'm a huge fan of Red Devils.
What are your predictions for tomorrow games? I'll make some analysis and later put my bets online. Cheers
